Dos and don’ts in washing clothes at home

بایدها و نبایدها در شستشوی لباس در خانه

1. Do not wash light and dark clothes next to each other:

If you wash clothes of the same type and color together, your clothes will be less damaged. We recommend washing heavy clothes such as woven fabrics together, separating cotton clothes and washing denim clothes together.

But keep in mind that you should never wash dark and light clothes together. Because it may color dark clothes and make light clothes dark or cloudy.

2. Do not pour the detergent directly on the clothes:

If you want to wash your clothes in the washing machine, do not pour the detergent directly on your clothes, because your clothes may absorb the color of the detergent and the texture of the clothes will be destroyed.

Therefore, it is better to put the detergent in the tank of the washing machine to prevent any damage to your clothes.

3. Do not use a washing machine dryer:

If you don’t want to wear your clothes right away, we recommend not using the dryer in the washing machine. The dryer spins at a high speed to remove moisture from the clothes.

The high-speed rotation of the washing machine is not suitable for woven, woolen and some clothes. Because your clothes may become threadbare or watery and shrink.

4. Do not wash socks with other clothes:

A sock is a small accessory with a thin and delicate texture. Maybe it happened to you that after washing the sock, a piece of it disappeared or got damaged. Therefore, filling the washing machine not only prevents the socks from being cleaned, but the thin fabric of the socks may get stuck to the zipper or button and tear.

5. Close the zipper:

Close the zipper before washing pants, sweatshirts or bags. The zipper has sharp teeth that may get caught in your clothes and tear your clothes. Therefore, to protect your clothes, we recommend that you zip up your clothes.

6. Do not button your clothes:

We said before that it is better to zip your pants or sweatshirt to take care of your clothes. But if your dress has buttons, don’t close it and leave it open.

When washing a button-up garment, your button may get caught on a garment or part of the washer and damage your garment. Therefore, we recommend that you close the button of your clothes before washing.

7. Remove the stain from the clothes:

If there is a stain on your clothes, be sure to remove it before washing. Because the stain may remain or spread during washing. Remember to remove the stain with your own methods.

8. Put your clothes in the dry cleaners:

We recommend that you do not wash some clothes at home and leave them to a dry cleaner. For example, leather clothes, fabric, suits and silk or net clothes have special materials and textures that should not be washed at home, especially in the washing machine. In this case, the best method is washing by a skilled dry cleaner.

9. Wash white clothes separately:

We recommend that you never wash white clothes with other clothes. White clothes are highly susceptible to discoloration or yellowing and dead pus of the clothes. In addition, we recommend washing even white clothes separately from each other. For example, you can wash these types of clothes separately based on the material or the level of dirtiness.
